  •  The 4th was really fun!  I saw my dad in the afternoon and then spent the evening with my Mom and Brother's family...here are some pictures.  Also this weekend I raised some more funds for my trip, only about $1000 left to go!

Liv and the Sparklers!  It took a while to get over being afraid, but she learned to love it!

I realized I was in the most dangerous spot, the kids would be done with sparklers and just try to set them on my lap while they were still going! But we all survived!

  • "The Lord is my shepherd, I have everything I need.  He makes me rest in green pastures, He leads me beside peaceful streams...He renews my strength.  He leads me along right paths bringing honor to his name...

Even when I walk through the darkest valley I will not be afraid, you are right beside me.  Your rod and staff protect and comfort me...

You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies, you welcome me as a guest anointing my head with oil.  My cup overflows with blessings!  Surely your goodness and your unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life!"

    AMEN!

  • Moving fast...

Its still sunny and warm outside, its been in the 80's and 90's here.  I am SO glad, its not so depressing and its good prep for traveling.  Things are going very well here, I am so close to being able to travel at the end of July.  Just a bit more for a plane ticket and some supplies!  Each weekend I see God move and its amazing, I love watching people get inspired and give, and feel a part of something much bigger than they are.  Love it!  Also my roommate has been great and its working out well for me to move out.  Other than planning I have been spending a lot of time with the "Gillock Nation", Luke and Rachel and the kids, we have not told them I am moving yet but it is not going to be fun!  Joshua is three and calls me "his Amy", he cries and gets upset a lot when I leave the house, please pray for this transition!

    Talk to you later!

  • Things are going well.  I have about 2 weeks left of work here and Daimler and then...you never know!  And...Its finally sunny ourside!  It has been cold and cloudy up until about a week ago, like we just skipped Spring!  But finally there is sun and flowers and blue sky...at least for now... you never know.

Also things with the church are going well and I am up to $200 a month in support!  And I almost have my visa!  He is moving, differently than I had expected, but he is moving non-the-less and he way is better than what I wanted!
